Miles to Mayo

“It's been 17 weeks since my body stopped listening to me. Dystonia took control of my legs, my arms, my diaphragm, my ears, my voice...everything. I haven't been able to go to my office since May. I thought I was going back tomorrow, but one of my doctors decided it's too risky because I fall sometimes. She wants me to try working from home for the next three months while they continue to figure out why this happened and how to stop or reduce it. As many of you know, Liz was recently diagnosed with Dystonia. Since her public disclosure, we have been privy to just a small glimpse into how this disease has affected her daily life.  The mental, physical and emotional strain that she deals with is more than many of us could bear nor even imagine.  Yet, through it all, she manages to crack jokes and continues to press forward.  We have all done our best to shower her with outpourings of love, support and encouragement as she adjusts to her new normal.  Although Liz would never ask this of you, so many of you have asked how you can help.  Well, here is how.  Please donate to the GoFundMe page established in Liz’s honor to assist her with getting to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN to receive the much-needed medical attention her condition requires.
