Miles For Maddox

For those of you who may not know this little man his name is Maddox Louque. Maddox is my first cousin’s son. Maddox is the son of Carmen and Fabian Louque and has an older brother Marshall. Maddox is a very energetic 8 year old little guy who loves to play baseball.
In 2016 Maddox was diagnosed with a stage 4 Wilms Tumor (Kidney Cancer), Mets to his lungs, testicles and lymph nodes. He had 6 weeks of chemotherapy to shrink the tumor and then had a left Nephrectomy.
Maddox continued with Chemotherapy for an additional 6 months along with Radiation Treatmet.
In October of 2016 Maddox was in remission, 20 months later in January of 2018 Maddox relapsed, more spots were found on his lungs.
In June of 2018 Maddox was again considered to be back in remission until the heartbreaking news was given to his mother in August of 2018. His 3 moth follow up scans have shown more sports on
his lungs indicating the cancer is back.
Maddox has been given a couple of options for his next steps in treatment which are MD Anderson or Texas Children’s Hospital.
Cancer sucks especially for this little 8 year old that just wants to play ball, go to school, run around like a wild man and live his young life.
This fundraiser is to help the Louque family with medical expenses as they start the next steps towards getting Maddox healthy.
