Hi Friends & Family,
They say the third time’s the charm… though I’m not entirely sure that applies to marathon training!
Many of you have supported me through my first two marathons, where—thanks to your incredible generosity—we raised nearly $20,000 for the Andrew Weishar Foundation. Your support has meant the world to me and my family, and I’ve never taken it for granted.
This year, I’m proud to share that I’ll be running the 2025 Chicago Marathon in partnership with the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation —an organization that holds a special place in my heart.
Over the past 11 years, I’ve had a front-row seat to witness the tremendous impact the Chicago Blackhawks and their Foundation have made both on and off the ice. Now, it’s my turn to "jump the boards" and do my part to help grow awareness and support for this incredible cause.
As the official charity of the Chicago Blackhawks, the Foundation is dedicated to uplifting communities across the city through impactful partnerships, youth programs, and outreach efforts that open doors and create lasting change. Their work reaches far beyond the rink.
The Foundation’s mission is driven by three core pillars:
- Investing in Chicago’s West Side
- Supporting Native American communities
- Growing the sport of hockey and making it accessible to all
If you know me, you know how much I believe in the power of sports to bring people together and create positive change—and that’s exactly what the Blackhawks Foundation is doing every day.
I’d be truly grateful for any support—whether it’s a donation, sharing the fundraising page, or simply cheering me on as I gear up for the Chicago Marathon on October 12th.
