Milan's YWAM Mission Trip

As lots of my friends and family already know, I have recently been praying about and working towards an opportunity with an organization called Youth With A Mission. Youth With a Mission (or YWAM) is a global movement of Christians committed to serving Jesus and making Him known internationally. I've been stirred upon discovering YWAM for myself this summer, seeing that multiple friends have served in the same ministry and were completely moved by God.
About two years ago, God gave me the vision of Colombia, in South America. Despite there being any significance in this specific country for me, I believe whole-heartedly that He is asking me to follow Him there. I have the opportunity to join a Discipleship Training School that starts in January and ends in June in Cartagena, Colombia. This specific DTS is focused on teaching discipleship and evangelism through arts and creative ways. The collective goal for the lecture phase, during the first three months, is to focus entirely on Jesus. During this period of training, I will be learning more about God through lectures and practical training. Each day, I'll be provided alone time with God, small-group interaction, bible study, and of course, time to explore Cartagena and discover a new culture.
The last two months will be my mission trip (or outreach phase). I could be staying in Colombia or ministering in other countries, including Cuba, Europe, Peru, Ecuador or Turkey. Seeing that I have very little information on where I am going or what I will be doing, I can simply tell you that I have no idea what to expect, but I am fully relying on God. I am so excited to let God expand my world and show me what I am meant to do for His Kingdom.
More than anything, I am asking that you would pray for me throughout the preparation/fundraising process as well as during my trip. There has been an infathomable amount of conflict even during this season of applying, so I am very aware that this is going to be a fight to get to where I need to be. If you are willing to help me financially, it would be an incredible gift to me. For the holiday season, I am only asking for help towards my tuition. My goal is to raise $6,000 by January 21st. I know it's a big goal in a short time, but I serve a big God, who is the ultimate source and possesses abundantly generous children. Thank you so much for all the support, love and prayers.
