Milan Ristic's Memorial Fundraiser

Due to the sudden and unexpected nature of the passing of our dear friend Milan Ristic, we are asking for donations to assist his family in covering the costs of his upcoming memorial.

 

We're all devastated by this news, none more than his loving wife Ivana, his handsome son Stefan - who looks just like his dad, and his little princess Ana.

 

Please give generously to help a very deserving family in need during the time they need it most.

***GoFundMe has asked that I include the following information to ensure funds are not misappropriated:

1. I am an old friend of Milan's, I met him in 2002-03 and we spent a lot of time together cruising around in our hotted up cars and running amok as young men, as I'm sure most of you know! We both lost contact for a short period while I was away working overseas and he was busy starting his family, and had recently reconnected over our shared love of fishing.

2. All funds donated will be utilised for the upcoming cost of Milan's memorial (which is directly related to the target total) which will be held Thursday, 14 October, 2021 - we are unsure of attendance restrictions due to the COVID situation and ask that you respect his family's wishes at this time. More details will be released on social media at the family's discretion and as they feel comfortable to do so.

3. The beneficiary of this fundraiser has been set up and directed to Ivana, Milan's wife, a direct email invitation to her as the sole beneficiary has been sent from within the GoFundMe interface to ensure she is able to withdraw the funds personally. Furthermore, I have provided photo evidence of this beneficiary setup and confirmation to two independent trusted friends of Milan's - Emily Freeland & Grant Hanrick, you are also welcome to check in with Ivana directly.
