Mike's Healing Fund

Dear Friends,
As many of you already know, our friend and loyal colleague, Mike McDonald, recently suffered a serious injury while at work. The result of the injury includes severe damage to his shoulder (bone and cartilage) and compression fractures in his spine. He has undergone one surgical procedure for his shoulder, but he will need a second procedure to complete the work. The surgery for the compression fracture will follow later. Once surgery has been completed, the estimated physical therapy and recovery time will be approximately 9 months. Those of us who know Mike well, know that he has the noble tendency to face his challenges without seeking outside help. This Gofundme was started to provide an opportunity to let him avoid the painful (even more painful than his physical injury?) process of asking for any assistance and allow us to quietly support him. Whatever you can contribute to help Mike and his family through this very difficult time would be very greatly appreciated.
