The Back Story:
A dear friend and "brother", Mike Couch, recently lost his battle to Covid, unexpectedly leaving behind many loved ones. Mike was such a one-of-a-kind person, loved by everyone he met. His passing has left a void in many hearts and many lives. And although we can never replace what is gone, we can heal by filling that hole left behind in a positive and uplifting way. So in remembrance of Mike, this fund is being started to honor him by raising funds toward the future education of his grandchildren. His first granddaughter, Grace, filled him with such joy. His smile lit up the room every time he spent time with her. As "brothers" of Mike, our wish is for his love and legacy to continue to those grandchildren that he will never get to meet.

The Plan:
The donations received from this fundraiser will be split between Matt(Tiffany), Zach(Mirian) and Max(Meghan) with all benefits to be allocated to their first born child's education. The funds will be placed in a 529 plan, a tax advantage savings plan designed to encourage savings for future education costs. Essentially, our goal of 15k would mature to approximately 140k. That's a great way to treasure the memory of our dear friend and heal the emptiness that has been left behind.
