As many of you know I am the author of, How’s It Feel, Tough Guy?: From Prisoner of Pride to Prisoner of Hope. My story points to the Cross of Jesus Christ as the source of HOPE, VICTORY and FREEDOM over life controlling substances and circumstances. Born out of my struggles with crime and addiction is a passion to share my story with addicts and inmates alike. I understand what it’s like to be controlled by addiction and I also understand what it’s like to look at the future from behind prison walls and believe the lie, “There is no hope for my life!”

Were it not for others speaking into my life and telling me about a God who loves me and could bring healing and restoration to my life, I don’t know that I would be alive today. The fact is, by the grace of God, I am alive, and God has created in me a heart to go and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to addicts and inmates alike with the confidence that the Gospel message can and will do for them what it did for me; transform their lives!

America is home to 5% of the world’s population but we incarcerate 25% of the worlds inmates. Of the 2.4 million inmates in State and Federal Prisons in America, 80% or more are there for drug related offenses. These numbers do not include more than a million men and women on parole, in county jails, bracelet programs, etc. The point is, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)

In light of this, Heidi and I have decided to set aside six weeks (July 1, 2018 -August 15, 2018) and travel from New Jersey to Texas and back sharing my story of redemption. Right now, we already  have dates to speak  in Tennessee, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, and are adding more by the day. We will be speaking at drug rehabs, jails, churches, and recovery programs. We are excited to bring our message of hope to the broken hearted but we are realizing as we are adding up the costs of renting a vehicle for 6 weeks, tolls, fuel, food, shelter, and 1500 copies of our English and Spanish editions of my memoir, etc., (we give away all books for free to treatment centers, prisons and jails), we need as many partners as possible to help us make this happen.  For example, for every $50 contributed, we can donate 10 books to prisons/jails/rehabs.
