Mike's Extra Inning Game

If you know Mike Marcinko, you know how full of life and compassion  he is. Mike was an outstanding baseball player in both high school and college, and was the guy you could count on when needed. Mike is currently studying at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Mike was noticing that he was getting tired quicker than usual, losing weight, and was noticing his strength lessen when he was working out. Mike has just been diagnosed with CML Leukemia, and they are doing additional testing. The doctors are working to get a regiment of treatments to help Mike in this battle. For those of us that know Mike, it's hard to wonder why this is happening. He was excited about becoming a doctor, is recently married, and is a great young man full of life.
