offset medical expenses, travel and lodging, traveling to Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart Clinic, and hospital.  I have been in constant Arterial Fibrillation since August 2018, which has damaged my heart muscles which in turn only pumps about 30 % of what it should.  This in conjunction with being in stage 4 renal failure has complicated my situation.  The doctors have told me I would need a gastric bypass surgery immediately, even with the risks of my not surviving the procedure.  My survival percentage is zero if I don't.  There are not other options open to me.  I just turned 72 and would like to live a few more years.  These funds will allow us, my wife and I to be able to be together during these procedures, which carry substantial risks, and  housing for my wife will require a month or more while I'm hospitalized, as well as medical expenses, medication, and food.  We have depleted our savings and are loading our credit cards to the max, especially since I started going to Houston Methodist DeBakey clinic in October.
 
Prior to that, my wife was being treated at M D Anderson for  cancer, that has been a two year ordeal, with the same expenses as now.  We travel 255 miles one way for visits.   
 
Please help me as I am in dire need of assistance, we live month to month on our social security income, we're both retired.
