Mike Laporte's Cancer Fight

Mike is a devoted husband & father of four and was the primary bread winner of his family up until April of this year.  He had gone to the ER for pain in his hip from a fall to discover he had a huge mass that appeared to be cancer.  After much testing it was confirmed to be Spindle Cell Rhabomyoblastic Sarcoma, which in itself is very rare, and add to it that it is considered a pediatric cancer not typically seen in adults.  Because of that there is very little known about the disease in adults and very few hospitals that can treat it.  Mike and his wife, Heather, will be traveling often to Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Center in NYC for treatment as well as having local treatments including chemo, radiation, and eventually surgery.  Mike will be out of work while going through treatent and with the outrageous cost of co-pays, deductibles, prescription costs and travel expenses his reduced disability income will be spread thin.  The family could use your help!  Mike has always been the 1st to offer help to anyone in need, take people in, donate his time & money to others...now he needs OUR help!!  Please consider a donation to help give Mike his BEST chance to beat this monster.  Mike, Heather, and the rest of the family appreciate very much all of the support and help they have received since his diagnosis and continue to receive.
