Mike Frandsen Cancer Fight Fund

Last week, our dear friend, Mike Frandsen was rushed to the hospital in excruciating pain that seemed to come out of nowhere. Doctors were baffled and seemed to think it could be diverticulitis or some other gastro-intestinal complaint. After a couple of really hard days in the hospital, his condition worsened.

Mike was transferred to Ogden Regional Hospital where the unthinkable was discovered: Mike, a healthy, young 37-year-old dad of four was diagnosed with late-stage colon cancer.

Mike underwent surgery to remove part of his colon and cancerous lesions on his stomach and is currently recovering from these major surgeries.

Mike and Lyndsi are strong. They are committed to this difficult road that life has placed them on. Mike will be facing rounds of chemotherapy and other treatments to help him beat cancer and get back to coaching his kids’ sports teams.

Mike is a financial advisor and relies on commissions to provide for his family. This GoFundMe’s goal is to bridge the gap between the family’s needs and the loss of income that will inevitably happen, as well as providing funds for transportation, child care for Charlotte, Lane, Wes and Luke, and other expenses that will occur as Lyndsi is by Mike’s side during this journey.

Mike and Lyndsi are givers. To be in a position for them to now be in a season of receiving is humbling and unnatural for them. They have spent a lifetime loving on others and welcoming people into their circle.

Our hope is that their supportive circle will become a lot larger through the kindness of others donating to this fundraiser.
