Mike Collins medical bills

Anyone who knows Mike Collins knows he's a loveable, fun, light hearted guy. He hasn't had a life without challenges, but he tries to find the good in life. He has a contagious laugh and a big heart. We are lucky to call him family, and even more so to call him a friend. Mike and Mandy were united in November of 2015, after years of waiting they finally found each other. They are a perfect match!

Tragedy struck them on the afternoon of July 12th. Mike had been working outside on their car, when he came inside because he was feeling dizzy. He lost his balance, and fell. When he got up he said he wasn't feeling well and went up to take a nap and relax. Little did they know, he had just suffered a stroke. He was taken to the emergency clinic, where they ordered life flight to take him to the University of Utah Hospital. He is currently in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit. He has been in surgery to reduce the swelling in his brain and placed on a ventilator.

There isn't any way to plan for this kind of event, and medical bills should be the last thing to worry about when your loved one's life hangs in the balance. Please help us to raise money for the medical care Mike will need. Because of this tragedy, they will have a long road to recovery, and will have to sell their home and relocate closer to medical facilities. We don't know yet the extent of the damage the stroke has caused, but we know it won't be an easy road for them.
