My father Mike Carter, a man of epic character died yesterday afternoon. He created a dynasty that will live on through us and our's for generations to come. Our hearts are heavy and broken but we will remain steadfast as we take turns at the helm carrying on his legacy.
In the spirit of his life, we are asking for donations as we prepare for a proper send off. We will honer his wishes of a burial at sea, and as we brace ourselves for a future without his physical presence we will have sacred resting place for our Capitan. later this month we will have a funeral and of course the celebration of life Mike Carter is worthy of.
Mike loved Mendocino and its beautiful coast for over 40 years; Mendo will be his final resting place. We will keep you up to date on his service and the celebration of his life.
