Mike Bikes for Autism

Donazione protetta

My brother Mike is going to be bicycling across the country as a fundraiser for the Seattle Children's Autism Center. Mike has already exceeded his goal of $10,000 and raised $10,770 which goes directly to the Autism Center.  The purpose of this GoFundMe campaign is to raise money for his travel expenses during his 5-6 week ride.  He is a self employed mason and artist, and he will be putting his life on hold to complete this 3,000 mile journey.  He will need money for food, lodging, and other expenses associated with the ride.

This is his mission statement:
"I have a 9 year old son with Autism Spectrum Disorder (high functioning, formerly known as Asperger's Syndrome). He is the most amazing person I know and the love of my life. My wife and I are completely devoted to his success in life. Autism is part of our daily lives and requires a great deal of hard work and dedication. In a desire to promote awareness and support for individuals and families touched by Autism Spectrum Disorder, I will be riding my bicycle from Seattle to New York City in order to raise money for Seattle Children's Hospital Autism Center. This is where my son Luca was first diagnosed with Autism. I will begin my ride from Seattle, WA on July 1, 2018 and hope to arrive in New York City the first week of August 2018. My ride will be solo and unsupported. Wish me luck!"

Many of us wish we could ride along with him, making a donation is a way to be with him in spirit.

Thank you in advance for your generosity! Go Mike!
