Mikayla Eather’s Road To Recovery

Donation protected

On 1st January New Years morning Braiden Lee & his partner Mikayla Eather were traveling back from Coolangatta after attending a family 60th Birthday Celebration.
At 2am just outside of Grafton the vehicle they were traveling in slipped out of control on a wet road sending the vehicle crashing into a dead tree which smashed through the front windscreen and impaled Mikayla’s upper left thigh.
She was cut free from the wreck by Emergency Services & flown straight to Tamworth Hospital where she underwent emergency surgery to which the surgeons discovered that the branch was only millimeters from her femerol artery.
Mikayla is undergoing further surgery to remove debris from the wounds she sustained. She will be relocated back to Dubbo Base Hospital where she will begin her road to recovery in anther week.
Mikayla has months of ongoing medical expenses & rehabilitation ahead of her on her road to recovery & to take some of the financial burden off her shoulders it is with a heavy heart that I ask for people to please dig deep & donate to help Mikayla and Braiden face the next chapter in their lives & for Mikayla to make a full & speedy recovery.
