Mika’s surgery and road to recovery






Hello Everybody,

I wanted to first express gratitude for taking the time to read this.
Our beloved family dog, Mika, was hit by a car on February 21st. The gardener came in and forgot to close our gate. Mika ran out after her brother and the car was driving over the speed limit on residential street. The car didn’t slow down and hit Mika and also took off. Sadly, she sustained injuries that would require hospitalization and now surgery. Vets recommend pelvic fracture repair, however, just the hospitalization has already set us back $2800. The surgery would cost roughly $5000-7000, not including PT that would be needed after the surgery.
