Mikaela’s Recovery

As many of you may have heard, our families suffered devastating losses on July 14th. Our aunts, Regina and Rhonda, and our 9 year old cousin, Mikaela, were rear-ended on I-95. Our aunts did not survive the accident. Mikaela was life-flighted to the hospital after sustaining non-life threatening injuries. Her mom, Kim, is at the hospital with her and we are joining her in praying for a full recovery for Mikaela.

I’m the meantime, we’re doing everything we can to ensure that Mikaela has everything she needs, both now and moving forward. We’ve already been so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support, and have been asked repeatedly what can be done. We’ve set up this GoFundMe to support Mikaela through her recovery and at the same time honoring what we know would be the request of our aunts…”take care of our babies!”

To Regina and Rhonda, you both will live on in the legacies of your children and grandchildren. And we will stand in the gap to comfort and care for the beautiful legacies that you’ve both left behind ❤️
