Edit: I'm raising the goal because any additional help would be awesome for our finances. I'm going to have to take time off work and Chad may have to quit his job.
My husband, Chad, was diagnosed with a cancerous mass in his colon on February 9, 2015. He had a CT shortly thereafter that showed that it has most likely gone to his liver as well. He will turn 38 this year.
Chad has been my best friend since we were 14 years old, and we've been married 20 years. We're going to fight our asses off to get him better, and have him hang around for a while longer. We need to raise some extra money for the PET scan he have to have. We have medical insurance, but the copay is $1600. Also, every chemo treatment (every other week) is going to run around $425, and that's WITH insurance. Any help would be amazing.

Update: we're nearing the end of our journey together and any help would be phenomenal. I'm going to be planning a funeral, and take some time off work. Plus: yay medical bills! :-(
