Migrant Worker Annual Toy Drive
Donation protected
Each year, the members of Saint James Cathedral's Youth Ministry organize a toy drive to bring Christmas to the over 400 children of migrant workers in the Skagit Valley. Each year, the need continues to grow, and this year will likely be no exception. Our goal is to provide each child who attends with two new toys, as well as a new winter coat or jacket.
This annual event relies completely on the donations of parishioners of a few of Seattle's Catholic Parishes, as well as the generosity of youth ministry members, their families, and friends!
Donations of all sizes are appreciated, and are all put to good use! All toys and jackets purchased will be distributed by the youth ministry members in the week before Christmas at the Tri-Parish Foodbank, located at Saint Charles in Burlington, Washington.
The children of the Skagit Valley are always amazingly grateful for your thoughtful donations! Please consider helping make this a Christmas to remember for these children in need!
All funds donated with be deposited in the personal banking account of David Buchholz, Adult Leader with Saint James Youth Ministry.
Toys will be purchased Friday, December 14th and distributed on December 15th.
