MID-JAB Short Film Crowdfund

Hi all, I want to introduce you to my baby "Mid-Jab" - a script I wrote - and edited - and wrote again during the pandemic. Not to give the entire premise away but, picture this: A coming-of-age comedy short film, set on halloween, based on a group of dynamic Muslim friends who dabble in karate.

Sounds cool, huh? Well with your help we can turn this script into a reality. I had a pipe-dream of being able to fund this myself by keeping the script to a minimal, but the more I brainstormed and spoke to brilliant people, the more I realised that in order to give this story justice, it deserved a lot more than the little I was contributing.

This is a story that steers clear from the stereotypical and instead shines light on these characters in a comical and endearing way. The main cast and crew is entirely made up of people of colour and I am adamant on ensuring that I can afford to pay their expenses.

I hope you all enjoy this film when it is done, I can't wait to get started! :)
