Middleton hit and run family fund

My brother Micheal is a young Working family man who has already overcome a troubled past by accsepting himself and learning to fuction  as an adult with autism. He holds down a good job and lives for his two children aged 6 and 10  and his wife Alex. He prides himself for working hard to provide for his family and is a good human.  On Monday 22nd of October my brother was on his bike riding home from work when he was cruely left for dead in the middle of the road after he was hit by a car. He was clearly uncocious as he flipped over the car and skid up the road but the owner fled the scene at high speed and didn’t look back! A kind bus driver stopped and helped my brother who was taken to hospital with suspected head injury’s, broken arm, back and foot as well as serious road burns all over his back and hip. After a few hours fearing the worst Michael was wheeled out to his family and we were told he had broken his arm in 3 places and badly damaged his foot and hip but luckily his injury’s were not life threatening and he was going to make a full recovery in time. Michael is trying to come to terms with the fact that someone could leave another human in such a state and not help as well as dealing with the pain and healing time. The police are looking for the hit and run driver but in the mean time Michael is unable to work to provide for his family, pay his bills let alone get his bike fixed,. That bike was his life line and without it he would be totally reliant on others to get him from place to place as one of the symptoms of his autism is fear of crowed spaces such as public transport . Michael could be out of work for up to nine weeks which is putting him under enormous pressure both financially and mentally and I am asking for people to help with this so he can get back to health without the stress of falling behind with bills which will make him try to return back to work before he is ready!
