Micro-preemies Medical cost

Donation protected

Hello all! This is little Josie and Adaline. They are identical twins born just a minute apart (yes I will hear them argue about who's oldest the rest of my life) lol. These two are my Christmas miracles. They were born the day after Christmas at 25weeks. They weighed 1.11lbs and 1.15lbs. There length was that of my tallest finger to just past my wrist. When I went in to the hospital I was told to think of end of life options since I was midway through 23 weeks. Thankfully, I held on long enough and those 10 days have brought them this far. They have been such a gift and truly are little rays of sunshine. I am so impressed with how far they've come and couldn't be prouder. I thought I could get to be the rare few micro- preemie moms whose children never needed surgery but the time has come for them to need it. Our first year has been challenging with spending 116 days in the NICU then therapy every week. Lots of testing and specialist and one gnarly leukemia scare. They have been admitted for RSV which is deadly to them then a month later type A flu.  The image with Josie and all the wires was  result of possible seizures caused by the persistent high fever of the flu. They can't be around other kids due to there compromised immune system and they both have cyst on there ovaries that we watch along with the usual preemie diagnosis that they see specialist for. They've pushed past all obstacles thus far and I know they will push past this years trials and tribulations. But we need help. I am reaching out in request for financial assistance to help with some remaining/foreseeing medical cost, travel cost and stays for surgery recoveries and anything in correlation with there needs. If you choose not to donate I ask that you please say a prayer for them because that is just as powerful and worthy. Or, share the page for others to see. These twins will be having surgery to remove a cyst on Adalines epiglottis and vocal chords. And to correct her PDA which is a heart murmur. Josie will be getting tubes in her ears since she's had 7 ear infections in just a few months. Josie will also have her cleft corrected in her throat and she has a PFO which is part of the heart that closes and isn't suppose to and if she ever gets in very high altitude places she will have a stroke and she also has a leak in one of her heart valves. Two surgeries have been confirmed and the other three are pending for some more testing that we have to travel for. I have reached out to a few agencies for help and doing yard sales and bake sales. If I raise more than what's needed I plan to put the funds in a college account or future medical account for them and/or donate it to another child in need. I just want them covered and be able to not worry about bills piling while they recover. They are strong little fighters and I know they want to get better and stronger. They are 15 months old and while they are tiny weighing at 15lbs and only wearing 3-6 month clothing, they have big hearts and even bigger smiles. We still have a few other things undiagnosed but we are working on it. I am determined to provide the best for my children.
A little about me- I am Lillianna and I raise my three beautiful children alone. I have always worked two jobs even through high school until I was restricted to bed rest for my twins. Since then, with their health, I have stayed home and poured my all into my three kiddos. I do go to school full time and hope to graduate next year with an associates of science transfer in business management. I am determined to get a career and become a first generation college graduate and be able to supply for my family financially. I don't want to be another statistic. My kids deserve the best and I will be that role model for them. I also coach my sons t-ball team and try to do volunteer work where I can.
I like to give back more then what I receive. It's not easy asking for help, but I know its what I need to do now. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't terrified for my girls but they will never sense that from me. Please help in any way possible. My greatest gratitude will forever be yours.
                                                           Sincerely,
                                                    The little Christmas Miracles
