MSU is in a state of change both on the administrative level and the student level. In the last two years, it seems as if all we’ve heard is nothing but sexual assault allegations and rumors of a corrupt administration. Regardless, our community has worked through it all together by showing love and support for one another. Both the student ministries on campus and local churches have played a huge part of this revival by pointing a broken campus toward the unconditional love that God shows to us all. We have in no way solved every problem, but we believe NOW is the time for us to celebrate God’s power and unify all Christians on campus!
What are we going to do about it? We have organized a worship night that does three things:
1. Makes a statement of God’s love and the hope we have in Him to the campus
2. Celebrates what God has done this year through the Body of Christ
3. Creates a catalyst for a united community under Christ at MSU
This event will take place on April 27th, from 7:30-9:30 at IM Circle on campus. The night will consist of worship, teaching, and unity among the believers on campus, as well as an opportunity for the Lord to work in the hearts of those who don't know the love and hope we find through a relationship with Him.
This entire worship night was organized by students and will be put on by students that are ethnically and organizationally diverse, representative of the Kingdom of God.
Estimated Costs Associated:
- Stage/labor, chairs, large electrical power, cleaning costs = $2,500
- Facility Rental Fees = $500
- TOTAL = $3,000
Here is your opportunity to help us change the direction that our campus has been moving in for the past two years. Our desire is to make Jesus known on MSU's campus, and to unite the body of Christ in the aftermath of the fallout of every wrong that has happened on our campus.
