Michele Beique-Procaccini, 51 years young, passed on Saturday December 30th, 2017 at 3:15pm.

She was a fighter through this terrible last month of her life. Things have not also come easy for my mother. She seemed to be handed a bad deck of cards but always seemed to redeem herself in every situation.

While she always seemed to keep light of her situation it was to late. She had been diagnosed with advanced liver cirrhosis. She fought and fought and mentally was not ready for what was to come but her body was ready.

In some of our many conversations we discussed some of her regrets. I am asking anyone who is having trouble in any part of their life to use the resources that are out there to get the help they need. My mother felt strongly about these resources.

She is now at peace and is no longer suffering. Which is all I ever wanted for her. . My mother and I were very interested to learn about the body during this time at Yale New Haven Hospital. The doctors were great in teaching us about the science behind the liver and it's condition to keep the body going. I would like to make a donation to the American Liver Foundation in honor of my mother to help someone else get the care they need.

I am asking for no flowers or arrangements. If people would like to make a contribution please do so here for her services.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Liver Foundation.
RIP Mom. I will miss you more than words can express.
