Together We Can Bring Michael Home

When traveling on holiday, you always hope everything goes perfectly especially when traveling to another country. You plan every last detail, book your hotel, and fly off to a sunny destination hoping to enjoy some fun and relaxation.

My name is Steven, and my very good friend Michael had those exact hopes when traveling throughout the Philippines. Unfortunately, he now lies in a Philippine hospital, thousands of miles from his home in America and he needs our help to bring him home.

On Sept 17, Michael was driving his motorcycle during a massive storm trying to get back to his accommodations in the Philippines. While passing through an intersection he crashed into a semi-truck due to the lack of visibility from the storm.

The crash left him with a chunk of flesh missing from his foot, a ripped open knee, a small head wound, broken bones, and other various injuries of which he is still in hospital for. Michael has already gone through four surgeries to repair his injuries and the doctors continue to fight to save his foot as the infection continues to be a major issue.

Michael’s condition has him restricted to a hospital bed, in a foreign country, with no financial support and no friends or family nearby for emotional support. Without insurance, he is facing large medical bills after numerous surgeries and has no means to get himself back home after his release.
