The Lorenzo family has just encountered a loss that no family should ever have to endure. My nephew, our beloved Michael passed away suddenly, he was only 26 years old. He was a loving gentle spirit, gifted in the arts and a gifted writer. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Please join us in helping support the family as they cope with their unimaginable grief.
The funds will be used to create memorial scholarships for writers in Michael's name. All donations are highly appreciated. Let's give another writer the chance that Michael didn't get.
I'd like to share a piece of writing, our beloved Michael wrote. He had a beautiful talent and an inspiring way with words. He is not here with us anymore, but his writings and his memories will always remain:
The capital of the Empire State I call home. No matter where the road takes you keep pushing. No matter what rivers you must cross overcome the rough waters. No matter how many dark days may try to push you down, push back because daylight will always come. Don't be afraid of the shadows that are cast upon you because on the other side there must be light. No matter what hell your put through be grateful for everything you have because hell is the only pathway to get to heaven. The road to riches are paved with broken souls failed attempts and crushed dreams. Overcome any and all false expectations and learn gratitude and acceptance, only then will you be able to live a rich fulfilled life.
