Michael Sean Berry's Memorial and Expense Fund

This fundraiser is for the family of Michael Berry who passed on April 12, 2023, in a tragic hit-and-run accident. He decided to visit his best friend and riding buddy's memorial on SR 415 in Osteen. A friend who also passed two years previous due to a hit-and-run accident. Michael visited the memorial often. He went to talk about life, family, his dreams and how much he missed his friend. That night, around 9:30 pm, an unknown driver jumped the median, hit Michael, as well as the memorial and did not stop. No information about the driver has come forth as of yet and until they are found or come forward, his family with not have closure. The loss of Michael Berry is a heartbreaking one. He left behind his fiance Xaviera Cassidy, son, Heath Mabey and brother, Carl Anthony Smith.

Michael was a vibrant beautiful person and an old soul. He was devoted to his family and took on his role as father and husband with so much love and honor. He was the type of person who welcomed everyone with open arms, kindness and warmth. His heart was full of love for all those who came into his life. Michaels charisma was magnetic, his laugh was contagious and his spirit was luminous. He was hard-working and passionate about his work and excelled in his profession. Micheal was one of a kind and will be missed beyond unbearable measures. We are so devastated that he is not coming home. Our hearts are in shambles, a piece of us is now gone forever.

Please help his family get through this terrible tragedy. Times were hard before the accident and Michael was the main provider. His family is at risk of losing their home and vehicle. They know that they will not be able to stay in their home forever but need time to grieve their loss and go through his belongings.
