Hi, my name is Inea Trejo, the sister of Michael Beck Jr.

Yesterday, we got the worst news no family ever wants to hear. As of 3:37pm yesterday my brother was shot and murdered in Monroe, MI during a robbery at the Highlander market on E Front street that then lead to a carjacking. My brother was just sitting in the car , he hadn’t even got out of the car yet. They came out and wanted the car, he got out and they shot him. Hearing the cop say my brother went out fighting like a warrior I couldn’t do anything but smile because if you knew my brother, you knew he was always doing some karate, wrestling, fighting, lifting weights, dropping down and doing push-ups in the middle of no where. He loved spending time with family, friends, giving his helping hands at Trinity Lutheran and the community. My brother made a huge impact on so many people lives and to hear all the stories about him is what we are wanting to hear. So tell us pleaseeeee!

I've had several people reach out to me and ask me where they can send money or what they could bring us. Anything and everything raised will be handed to the mother of Michael, Shannon Russeau and his children. We appreciate all the love and prayers!!!

Funds will also go towards the funeral expenses for Michael. As of right now we have not set a date and time but we will let everyone know once we do.
