Michael "Mike" Clark

Donation protected
Mike Clark was a simple, loving and thoughtful man.  His passion included fishing, football, car races and chasing the elusive skunk ape.

Ever ready to explore the water ways of South Alabama and Florida, he loved fishing.  He would take anyone willing or not on many fishing adventures.  For a short time, he even wrote a fishing column for the Dothan Eagle.

He worked for over 20 years as a paint saleman at Circle City Paints in Dothan, AL and briefly at Porter Paints in Panama City, FL before retiring due to health issues.

Forever the social creature, Mike enjoyed socializing with people.  With over 400 Facebook friends he even managed to bridge the digital social age.  He sometimes even drove to the local library to check his emails and FB page.  He loved hearing from and connecting with friends and family.

He passed away on Thursday, October 19 after a brief battle with lung cancer.

He is survived by his son, John Carl and two grandchildren, Tyler and Alyssa.

The family is requesting to donate to this funeral fund in lieu of flowers to help with funeral expenses.
