Recently Michael was battling the flu for several weeks. Recently he started getting strange paralysis-like symptoms to the point he couldn't raise his arm over his head.
He was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with Guillain-Barre or temporary paralysis of all his limbs.
"Guillain-Barre (gee-YAH-buh-RAY) syndrome is a rare disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. Weakness and tingling in your extremities are usually the first symptoms."

Recovery from this autoimmune disease could take weeks to several months.
As you can imagine several weeks to several months of medical expenses will be extremely costly. Valerie will also need to help assist Michael in his recovery and we want to help them only worry about getting better. Not the financial burden.
Michael is a loving husband and father of 2 young boys and we desperately want to do whatever we can to help his entire family through this.
We at FBBC will be paying his full-time salary as he recovers and will be matching up to $10,000 raised to cover his medical expenses.
