Michael Giles aka Franksy Memorial
Michael Giles aka Franksy was a kind hearted man known and loved by everyone. A true gentleman of Whitley.
Michael had such a kind heart and would talk to anybody. He often was found in town with the homeless community, he was a dear friend to them and he will be sadly missed by many!
Due to COVID 19 Michaels family won’t be able to have as many mourners as they’d wished to have atMichaels funeral. Therefore I have set this page up and am asking for help from the local community to help raise money for a memorial bench for Michael Giles, which will be situated in the Town Centre, a place he called home and a place where we can remember Michael. Any excess money will go towards a memorial wake ( details to follow after COVID 19) .
It has been so overwhelming to read everyone’s lovely memories of Michael and the family would like to hold a Memorial Day for Michael in which they can meet everyone and hear your stories and memories in person.
Michael gave a lot of comfort to people and had much more to give. Unfortunately Michael was taken from this world to soon.
He will be loved and missed by everyone.
I am asking for donations towards a memorial bench for a kind hearted man, the family appreciate all your kind words.
I know due to COVID 19, finances are hard however any donation is appreciated.
