Micaiah Hairston

Micaiah Noel Hairston was a healthy normal 11 year old, but the week before Thanksgiving Micaiah face started drooping on the left side and started having trouble with walking. We took her to the ER and found out that she has a lesion in the thalamus part of her brain. She done had two brain biopsy, 2 lumbar punctures, 4 MRIs, a couple of CT scans and a host of other test and procedures trying to found out the problem. She is in the acute unit at Brenner Children's Hospital and they do not have a clue to what is wrong with her. I’m asking for help! Her dad and I work but as some may know you don’t get paid for FMLA.  As for  myself I have a descent job at Hospice of the Piedmont but unfortunately I have not been there long enough to get FMLA and  not sure if my job will still be available to me after being out some much. Brenner Children's Hospital is going to transfer her to Duke so hopefully we can get more answers and if not they’re going to transfer her out of state. I’m asking for help because her father and I are running out of options to how we are going to cover the cost along with having 3 other children.This has been very hard on us to not knowing what is wrong with our child, so if you guys can please help us out because this has been a long 9 weeks. If you can’t help monetary please keep her in prayer!
