Wheelchair Van for Chris Connelly

Hi, my name is Mike Paolucci. I am the stepfather of Christopher Connelly.  Chris lives in an assisted living apartment  on the VA in Batavia NY.  After serving in the US Marines in Iraq my son Chris came home in 2010 and suffered a spinal cord injury in an ATV accident that has rendered him a quadriplegic. Along with Chris's no quit positive attitude towards life In general he has learned to adapt very well in the respect of moving forward inspite of his disability.  He is currently enrolled in college taking theological studies and along with his girlfriend Brittany they are very active in their local church. Chris also speaks weekly on a radio talk show! However he is limited to going anywhere due to the fact that he is struggling financially and unable to afford the cost of a wheelchair van. If you were to drive thru Batavia NY there is a very good chance you would find Chris going down the road in his motorized wheelchair just to simply get to the local store or coffee shop! His daily routine is subject to the weather! And if we look at this winter in particular you can imagine the difficulty that he is having trying to live a productive life! If you would find it in your heart to donate to the cause of getting my son a wheelchair van (along with me) He and Brittany would be forever grateful!
