Swiss Army Bill

The past couple months I have been working and trying to save up money so I could go home to Switzerland for the first time in over 2 years to see my friends and family. Most of my time is spent working with the football team. But not getting any cash flow from that, I found a part time job in hopes of saving a little bit of money, but that has been very hard.

Some of you guys probably know that it's mandantory to go to the army if you're a swiss citizen, for whatever reason. Since I lived here in America the past 4 almost 5 years I didn't  go back to Switzerland for a while. Now the Swiss Army wants to send me a bill THIS MONTH of OVER $2000 or I have to go back home and join basic training next month. This came out of nowhere and I wasn't ready for this at all, and could mean I can't go home for a 3rd year straight.

I am pretty much planning not to go home anymore unless I can get some help to pay this bill off completely. I don't care if it's just $1. I am just trying to stay here, in the country I fell in love with and where I can do what I love the most.
