Help for Leonidas

Hi my name is Anthea i am fundraising for my youngest child Leonidas who recently has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. He is has autism and is 5years old. He is insulin dependant. He has up to 10 injections per day to manage his diabetes and blood glucose level checks at least 8-10 times per day. He needs monitoring throughout the night to make sure his sugar levels are in normal range. When Leonidas's sugar levels are too high he becomes moody and irritable hard to manage and starts to feel unwell. When his levels are too low he needs immediate treatment and becomes shaky, lethargic and drowsy. Sometimes its a rapid onset and becomes confused he could possibly have a fit and lose consciousness which has happened on a few occasions. His level of care increases when he becomes ill. Its been so heartbreaking since his diagnosis in November 2021 which came out of the blue and has affected my mental health i suffer with anxiety and panicattacks. I have 2 older children 8 and 10 who are also finding it difficult not only with the diabetes but with his communication barriers due to the autism. He has become aggressive and often bites hits and pushes due to his frustration of not being able to communicate. I would like to get Leo private 1 to 1 lessons at home to help him progress in his speech and be able to communicate with me and his siblings. Unfortunatly its incredibly expensive and i cannot afford it at this time. I would like to raise some money so i can pay for him to have therapy at home a few days a week. 

The diabetes takes up alot of my time as all my sons food is weighed and carbohydrate value calculated, which has to be done for insulin doses before meals and snacks. Food shopping now takes time as i have to label read food for carb content etc. Its become such a struggle. I would be so grateful for any help.
