Pulk Family Update……So here is where we are at ….Eric had his EEG and MRI results come back and both have come back "normal" They did find a thickening in the sinus area that they will address with Kristy and Eric on Monday with the neurologist. They are concerned with his short term memory loss at this time. Brock was at Children's Hospital this past Thursday for his upper endoscopy. They took multiple biopsies of his esophagus and stomach. He has increasing inflammation and the Dr feels that there is more going on besides the EOE (Eosinophillic Esophagitis). The biopsies should come back this Thursday and we are all concerned because if his current restrictive diet is not helping it may mean he would have to have a G tube…(which is a feeding tube placed directly into the stomach) which would also mean slowing introducing foods one by one to see what if anything his body can handle. I know Kristy has gotten some cards and texts and she appreciates that but as her friend I can't stress enough how serious this all is…..They have no income at this point….Eric is still not medically allowed to be alone with Brock and Kristy can not get a job until at least Brock, Eric or both are stable…..she CAN NOT have any foods (except their restrictive diet foods) in her house so please do not drop off food. This family needs our help.
