March for Science KC Festival

Marches for Science are occuring across the nation April 14th, 2018 to reflect on the progress made and energize to move forward.
The goal of the March for Science Festival KC is to engage the public in celebrating the impact of science in the greater KC area. On April 14 we will be gathering at Macken Park (NKC) from 9am-1pm. We have speaker from diverse fields including science journalist Fred Heeren to KUMC cancer researcher and KC Citizen of the Year, Dr. Roy Jensen.
In addition to speakers, we will have engaging activities that will be fun for all ages!
But right now, we need your help to make it happen!!!
Breakdown of costs to make sure the March for Science Festival KC is the best possible event includes:
- Permit - $475
- Insurance - $1000
- Sound System - $250
