Dear Mom,
There was never a moment that passed where I did not think of you. Your contagious laughter, and full of life personality affected everyone that came into your presence. Ever since I can remember, you always called me Princess, and treated me like one. You pushed me so hard to be successful in life and motivated me to go after my goals. Growing up I always admired your confidence, intelligence and undeniable beauty. I watched you run a successful model agency, after having modeled yourself, give back to anyone that needed help and live a life full of passion and excitement.
I'm writing this letter to you because I want you to know you are loved. I know you didn't think anyone cared, but I and so many other people love you and care about you. Your wish is to be laid to rest in Miami where you lived for so many years. Your unexpected passing means that I now have to transport you there. You have maintained your US citizenship even though you were in Jamaica when you passed and I am determined to fulfill your wish of being buried in the United States. I want to show you that the world is not selfish. You are deserving of this and so much more.
I miss you so much. I love you, and remember we will always have Paris.
