Support for Meteorologists in Tragic Car Accident

On the evening of May 11th, four meteorologists were traveling in Southwestern Minnesota following a day of storm chasing when they stopped to avoid downed powerlines on Interstate 90. Unfortunately, their vehicle was struck from behind by a semi-truck as they stopped. Martha Llanos Rodriguez, a meteorologist from Mexico City and writer from the weather website "Meteored", was killed, while Bradford (Brad) Barrett, a physical scientist from the US, suffered from life-threatening injuries and is currently in critical condition. The other two passengers, Diego Alvaro Campos and Aldo Alberto Viscarra-Avilez, both from Chile, were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The weather community is absolutely devastated by this news. Both Brad and Diego are esteemed members of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and their colleagues are organizing this GoFundMe to help our four colleagues and their family during this difficult time. The funds from here will go towards helping cover medical bills and associated costs with the accident.

Durante la noche del 11 de mayo, cuatro meteorólogos viajaban por el suroeste de Minnesota después de un día de estar cazando tormentas cuando se detuvieron para evitar los cables del tendido eléctrico caídos en la Interestatal 90. The fundraising team will be receiving the funds directly into our accounts and send the money to the people involved in the cras and their families. It will be split in three ways: 1/3rd will be sent directly to Brad's family, another third will be sent as a wire transfer to Martha's family, and the last remaining third will be sent jointly to Diego and Aldo in Chile.
