Merlene's Medical Fund

Merlene Gayle has been an EMT-Basic since 2000. She started working with TEEX in 1999, and has worked for many EMS services in her career, including Legacy, Guardian, and Allegiance Mobile Health.

Merlene has helped many EMTs and Paramedics during their time at TEEX, and many more patients while working on the ambulance. She has taught, CPR, trauma and assessment skills, and assisted many students to become successful EMTs.

She recently had a biopsy performed and has been  diagnosed with esophageal cancer. We are setting up a fund to help her with day to day expenses, not limited to:
-Fuel for doctor's appointments
-Utilities
-Medications
-Household Expenses
-Day-day-day expenses

In EMS, we often talk about how we are a family, and it's important that we take care of each other in times of need.
