Menorah Fundraising

Hello all,
As you all know, I’ve been asking the City of Buda (outside of Austin, TX) to include a large menorah in their Christmas holiday display on Main Street for about 8 years. Fortunately, this is the first year it is officially “allowed”(after application and approval), but unfortunately, the City won’t spend any money purchasing it. So here I am. After a lot of community support verbally, and support from KXAN through its news story, I’m hoping I can raise enough money to pay for this so I don’t foot the entire bill myself. It will benefit the entire community, as Buda holds itself to be inclusive, and what more inclusive than to include ALL cultural holiday traditions? I hope you will make a donation. I’ll take care of hiring any labor, permit fees, sandbags, and other materials needed if necessary. We hope to have a lighting like surrounding cities have, and I also hope to see you there!
The cost of the Menorah (since city didn’t purchase I do not get a discount), is $1799. Shipping is $125. The total is $1924.
