Matamoros Family Tragedy

Donation protected
On July 4, 2017, a family was celebrating America's Independence day with a blend of South American roots. Luisa was making a traditional rice dish in a large pan with boiling oil and water when all of a sudden, her one year old baby daughter, Danelia came to her and yanked the handle of the pot resulting in all its contents drenching her entirely. Danelia was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital and is suffering from 2nd and 3rd degree burns to half of her little body, specifically her fact, head and chest. Danelia is currently in Pediatric ICU, in a lot of pain and will be undergoing skin graft surgery within the next week. At her young age, she has a long road to recovery and her family needs all the monetary assistance they can get.

At the moment, the mother (Luisa) and her husband are not working to be at her bedside and make all the medical decisions. Her husband has been getting gifted hours by his co-workers but Luisa is unable to work and the family will quickly fall behind onliving expenses and financial obligations. Please keep this family in your prayers at this time of great need and if you are able, donate any amount you can spare.

All money raised will go directly to Luisa to help pay living expenses while she is out of work as well as medical bills that will definitely keep mounting.
