Mending Mindy - Transplant expenses

My niece, Mindy (Heintz) Jarvis, came into the world fighting to live and has done an outstanding job of it for 30 years. She is a warrior!  She suffered from kidney failure as a result of birth trauma. Her grandfather, Perry Wolfe, gave her one of his kidneys when she was 12 yrs old, this kidney got her through middle school, high school, college, and marriage and lasted longer than doctors predicted.  Sadly she ended up with stage 5 renal failure and started peritoneal dialysis in 2014. She has been on the transplant list for four years, and due to her failing kidney has experienced multiple medical complications - dialysis has taken a toll on her body. Her faith has gotten her through the hardest year of her life.

Recently, God answered her prayers and the prayers of Mindy’s Prayer Warriors... her Aunt Mary Ann (her grandfather's sister) went through the long testing process at Barnes and was a match! Praise the Lord! They have a tentative surgery date of March 29th. Yes, Easter weekend!   Symbolic!!  New life - a new beginning! The transplant will give Mindy what she has desired for so long - to be a healthy mother & wife.
