I am beyond excited to announce that RACHEL WAS ABLE TO GET HER VAN BACK!!!!!!!
ALL the glory goes to God! I AM OVERWHELMED by the outpouring of support and comfort so many have given to Rachel, and her precious family, in this short time! You all saw a need and came running with such warm hearts, positive thoughts and earnest prayers. It is such a HUGE BLESSING. One that is definitely noticed and appreciated by her! Now she has peace of mind and can transport her lil lady to the Mayo Clinic in a few short weeks.
This visit is SO important to get a much better understanding of Madalynn's current needs. Unfortunately, there is STILL AN IMPORTANT NEED HERE. They may be staying in MN near the clinic for some time. With that being said, she will need funds to do so for lodging, food and gas to get there!

"I understand, wholeheartedly, that open heart surgery is nothing that can be decided on a whim. I also understand that her heart is now the size to which a grown adult would undergo surgical repair. Common sense would tell me that waiting it out would inevitably warrant a spontaneous eruption aka a heart attack …a risk that is very real even now at SIX years old!! I was encouraged to discuss the risks of open heart surgery compared to the risk of not doing the surgery.
At this time, Madalynn is scheduled to visit the Mayo Clinic in October."
