My Father Geoff lost his fight to this horrid disease in April this year, I watched the man who taught me to live, laugh and love disappear before my eyes, I watch my mother believe she was letting him down despite caring for him 24/7 with no outside help. Carers need more support they grieve twice once when their loved one starts to get worse with this cruel disease and the second time when they are finally released from watching the horrid disease stealing their loved one before their eyes.
