Memorial to Honor Patricia Gray

Donation protected
For more than 30 years, thousands of Kansas Citians found inner peace and blissful joy through Patricia Gray's insightful meditation and yoga classes. We were calmed, relaxed, and drawn to more compassionate ways of living just from being in her presence and feeling the love from her engaging smile.

Over the past few months, Patricia had asked me to find the perfect site for a tree and a bench where some of her ashes could be spread and to create a welcoming area for meditation and reconnection to nature.

We've connected with the Kansas City Parks Department, through their Commemorative Tree & Bench Program, and are working with them to determine a location to install trees and an ADA compliant bench with a bronze plaque.  We are fundraising to plant at least two trees and install a bench in Patricia's honor. If there are additional funds raised, we will plant additional trees, and donate any remaining balance to Wayside Waifs, a local animal rescue organization.

The sites we're considering are ones that offer a space for meditation and yoga, are close-in to Kansas City MO, feel safe and welcoming, and radiate with peace. We will update this GoFundMe page as we are able to make some decisions.

Patricia's husband, Bob Deeg, has opened a special "Patricia Gray Memorial Fund" bank account and all funds will go directly into that account to be used for this purpose.

So many of us found the way out of our grief, anguish, fear, and insecurities through Patricia's gentle teachings, deep insights, and, especially, her joyful way of being in this world (punctuated by the occasional raucous guffaw).

Your generosity will help her message of the interconnectedness of all life and the embodiment of unconditional love continue to be shared within our community for decades to come.

With love and joy to all those who were touched by Patricia's radiant light; her earthly presence will be sorely missed.
