Memorial Service for Eric Matos

Eric Matos , known by friends as "Matos" and "Doc," was a Navy Hospital Corpsman (FMF) during the Iraq War and beyond.  When people recall Matos, the responses and memories are overwhelmingly heartwarming.  He was a man who devotedly cared for the people in his life - He loved his family, friends, and country.  He was a fiercely loyal man, one who would go to the ends of the Earth for the people he cherished.  Anyone who met Matos couldn't help but love him.  He made you his friend the moment you shook his hand. It is with profound grief that I share Eric Matos passed away this past week.  All donations will be given to Doc's family to help ease the financial stress that comes during such tragedy.  Memorial arrangements are currently underway with a funeral date TBD.
