Memorial Service for Alyssia VanTrece

Alyssia Shantel VanTrece, born to mother, Emily Nicole Ludes, and father, Skylar Jamal VanTrece, on November 19th, 2020 at 2:28 p.m. weighing 4 lbs 5 ounces and 15 inches long. After a few very short days of life, Heaven gained a sweet, little angel November 22, 2020 at 1:28 p.m. Emily and Skylar are wanting to give their baby girl a proper funeral but are needing help to financially cover the cost. 

Alyssia's pregnancy came as a surprise for our family, but we all were excited to welcome another little one come Christmas. Unfortunately, Emily found out at 28 weeks along, there  was something different about this pregnancy. After meeting with several specialists, and many trips to Children's Mercy, they learned that their baby girl had a curved spine, water around her lungs, fluid on her heart, she suffered from seizures, she could not swallow which lead to retention of amniotic fluid, and had a clubbed foot. Emily gave birth to Alyssia at 34 weeks after a very difficult pregnancy. She was taken by emergency c-section due to additional complications with Alyssia's heart rate dropping. She was born not breathing and had to be put on a ventilator. Due to the seizures, she had to be put on 4 different medications as well as blood pressure medication. After her birth, it was found that there were more complications than the doctors anticipated. Unfortunately, 3 days later, she passed peacefully in her parent's arms. She will truly be missed by all of her family, but especially by her Mommy, Daddy, Brothers (Jayden, DaVonte, Skylar, Vincent, and Jackson), and Sister (Ski'lyn).

Due to the complications of the pregnancy, Emily has been off work for several weeks, and Skylar has missed much work to be with Emily during their appointments at Children's Mercy. We are asking for donations to help pay for Alyssia's Memorial Service. Even if you cannot donate, it would mean a lot if you could share this request.
