In Loving Memory of Michael Antoniak

On Friday, September 20th, 2019, Michael Anthony Antoniak, loving son, brother and friend passed away at age 38.
Mike was born on January 13, 1981 in Halifax, Nova Scotia to George and Jane Antoniak (passed 1999). Growing up in the North end, Mike was always MVP in the sports he played (baseball and tennis). He graduated from Queen Elizabeth High in 2000 and began working in the construction field in British Columbia, attaining his journeyman apprenticeship.
Mike had a passion for learning and people. He loved to read and would often debate and discuss the ideas and concepts in the books and literature he was currently reading with his friends and family. Engaging in many thought provoking conversations that would demonstrate Mike's love of learning and his desire to share that knowledge with those around him. He was also an avid music lover and friend to all animals. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Jane. He is survived by his father George, and his two Sisters Tanja (and her spouse, Glenn), and Kristin (and her spouse, Ryan).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday November 14, 2019 at 2 pm. Services will be held at JA Snows funeral home on 339 Lacewood Dr. All who would like to are welcome to attend this Memorial for and Celebration of Michael's life.
As Michael was experiencing hardship, any support for his services, internment or family can be made to this fund which will be received by his father George. Condolences may be sent to the family at 5520 Charles St, Halifax, B3K1K2.
Michael is desperately missed. The family thanks everyone for their support during this time.
